Private island in the Pacific Ocean
25 minutes from the seaport of Pedregal in the district of David, Province of Chiriqui, is Isla Chirote. This private island, part of the Republic of Panama is situated southeast of Estero Del Tigre and northeast of Cerro Tigre.
The island boasts nearly 6 miles of beautiful beach perfect for a luxury resort or bespoke retreat development. The waters of Isla Chirote enjoy a large variety of Multicolored fish making it a great destination for marine watching and snorkeling.
A gem of the Pacific Ocean, the island is mostly flat with 3 estuaries and a natural pool in front of its beautiful beaches. The island is largely untouched and is a veritable aquarium of crustacean mollusks, snappers, sharks, and dolphins.
Isla Chirote is more than just a beach, boasting two freshwater springs and a large number of timber trees that make up a tropical forest with a diversity of exotic animals such as lizards, deers, ocelots, three species of iguanas, and toucans.
Getting there is a 35-minute boat trip from the International port of Pedregal or 10 minutes from the port of Chorcha.
